Carly & Holly from our Social Media team were recently invited onto the Norwegian Dawn at the Port Of Tyne for a full ship tour.
We spoke to Carly who shared her experience on-board 🛳
” This was my first ever ship visit, i wasn’t sure what to expect but i was beyond impressed! 😍
Norwegian Dawn is one of the smaller NCL ships holding 2,340 guests. it is one of NCL’s older ships, however it still has a modern feel and has recently been refurbished with stunning decor.
On our tour we got to visit the many restaurants & bars the ship has to offer, if i had longer on-board i would have been spoilt for choice! They have a champagne bar, a family wine bar, 2 main buffet dining rooms, an Asian restaurant where the food is prepared fresh in front of you, cafes for a more relaxed vibe, a 24 hour bar and grill, the Venetian restaurant which is where we were treated to an amazing 3 course meal & wine, this restaurant is designed to have full ocean views and has a very classy feel to it.
We visited the spa which had such a relaxing calm atmosphere this is definitely where i would spend most of my time if i was staying on this ship. The spa offers over 50 speciality treatments, facials, hot stone massages and so much more. ✨
For entertainment and things to do day & night Norwegian Dawn has an outdoor pool, multiple hot tubs, a casino, the stunning Stardust Theatre, a library, arcade and so much more!
Visiting the Norwegian Dawn has definitely made me want to visit other ships for a longer period of time to get the full cruising experience, there is so much to do! ”
