Debbie, from our Newton Abbot branch recently returned from a once in a lifetime trip to Australia. We caught up with Debbie to hear all about it! 🇦🇺🐠

✨ “Australia is so vast and from meeting all representatives from all parts of Australia with information from hotels to excursions it was clear that there was something for everyone in this amazing country.

There was a huge amount of focus on eco ecology and biodiversity and seeing nature at its best especially in the areas I visited. Taking a trip from Cairns to Daintree was fabulous. The guide we had was second to none and the tour was one of the best, where we understood more about the rainforest and its natural habitat. I saw a huge amount of wildlife and also the Southern Cassowary which are very rare and unique birds which the guide was delighted to see as were we!

I spent 4 days in Tasmania going from the north to the South of the island was amazing. Visiting Cradle Mountain was a personal highlight and to have it snowing at the time we were there was a picture postcard. Visiting the Devils Cradle which is a conservation program for the Tasmanian Devil which has an on-site breeding program. Their aim is to stop the extinction of them and certain animals. The whole visit was very educational.” ✨

It sounds like Debbie had an unforgettable experience, we’ll definitely be adding this trip to our travel bucket list! 🤩
