Suzanne, from our Locksheath branch and Joanne, from our Boscombe branch recently hosted Hays Travel guests on a cruise around the Caribbean flying from Bournemouth ✈️
We caught up with Suzanne to hear all about her experience.
“What an amazing experience flying from a local airport to Barbados. ✨
The whole travelling experience was totally stress free. We checked our luggage in at Bournemouth and then we didn’t see it again until it arrived in our cabin on the ship. We had a glass of fizz ready for our guests in the departure lounge which was lovely too. When we landed into Barbados we were straight off the plane and on to a coach which took us straight to the ship. No need to worry about immigration or passport control queues. A lovely start to the trip. Onboard the ship we also had a drinks reception for our guests which they all enjoyed 🤩
Arvia was a beautiful ship. Very modern, clean and spacious. There was so much to do onboard and a huge choice of restaurants, shows and entertainment venues. We never had a problem finding things to do and we could always get a seat and a drink! 🥂
Arvia is definitely suitable for all ages. The children onboard loved The Reef and when they were not in there they also had the altitude sky walk, mini golf, cinema, skydome and Mission Control to keep them busy. ⛳
There were 4 pools onboard including 2 infinity pools, an adults only pool, a swim up bar and the skydome pool which has a retractable roof. As well as whirlpools scattered around the ship.🌊
We visited 7 stunning Caribbean islands as well as having an overnight in Barbados. All the ports were easy to explore independently and there were many different excursions such as catamaran cruises, zipline adventures or island tours. Definitely something for everyone. 🌞
