“The ship was lovely with beautiful interiors and lovely spacious cabins. We stayed on the upper deck so were lucky enough to have a french balcony and a bottle of complimentary champagne awaiting us upon arrival. Not to mention the tea & coffee facilities and L’Occitane toiletries which were a lovely added extra. We also had drinks included with our meals and 1 drinks voucher per day which we were able to use on anything from cocktails and spirits to wine and beer. π³οΈ
We enjoyed the majority of our meals at the main dining hall which offered stunning views through the floor to ceiling windows. The staff couldn’t do enough and were very attentive, even remembering our favourite drinks which made the experience all the more personal. The food onboard was delicious. There was plenty to choose from and with the option of 3-4 courses, we were able to try so many different dishes. The Bistro is another great dining option. The open plan kitchen allows you to watch the food being prepared right in front of you which was fascinating to see. π₯
Every day was a new adventure with exciting excursions in each port. The guides were brilliant and their passion and knowledge was evident from the get go making the holiday all the more enjoyable. Not to mention this was all included in the price! πΊοΈ
The evenings consisted of relaxed entertainment. Every night a pianist played classical music which created the perfect ambience for enjoying a glass of wine or your favourite cocktail. On the last two nights we were treated to a Hungarian Folk group as we docked in Budapest and a classical music recital in Vienna. π»
The value for money that Riviera river cruises offer really stood out for me. Considering the reasonable price you pay, the ship, service, food and inclusions are fantastic, I will be highly recommending Riviera for river cruise and also city break enquiries. π”
