Shelley from our Cruise Team recently returned from a tropical cruise on board Caribbean Princess! Keep reading to find out all about her exciting trip…

“Our journey began in Miami, where we spent the night in the Miami Lakes hotel prior to boarding the ship the next day! πŸ›³οΈ

Upon arrival at the port we had our Medallion apps at the ready so we could check in, (top top: if you dont have WIFI make sure to screenshot the QR code before arriving). At check in we were given our Medallions which are used for boarding, disembarking, entering your cabin and purchasing items. It also opens your cabin door as you are walking towards it and brings your details up to bar tenders as you approach them, or they approach you, so they know your name, cabin number and any drinks package you may have which we all found super convenient. βš“

We were lucky enough to have the Princess Premier package, which includes:
drinks up to $20, pre paid gratuities, WIFI, priority seats in the theatre, 2 visits to the speciality dining restaurants, unlimited fitness classes and so much more! ✨

The standard cabin we stayed in was beautiful, with plenty of space both inside and out! The balcony was kitted out with a table and chairs, making it the perfect spot to kick back and unwind on an evening, admiring the stunning scenery as we sailed between our destinations. πŸŒ…

Our first stop was Princess Cays, Princess’ own island! All drinks packages can be used here as well as your Medallion when purchasing food or beverages. Whether you want to indulge in a BBQ lunch, relax on the beach or explore the tropical corals with a spot of snorkelling, this place has it all! 🌊

We then headed onto our next destination, Cozumel where there were plenty of opportunities to get your shopping fix. One of my favourite parts of the whole trip was the Mexican Fiesta excursion where we got to enjoy a delicious lunch and tequila tasting all accompanied by a show. 🍹

From Roatan where we enjoyed the Jolly Roger Catamaran trip to Costa Maya where we headed to the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins, every part of the trip was jam-packed with fun. πŸ—ΊοΈ

We spent our evenings enjoying a drink or two before trying out different restaurants on the ship. We had 5 meals in the Palm dining room and 2 in the specialty restaurants (Sabatini’s Italian and The Crown Grill Steak House). All the food was amazing and left us feeling more than satisfied. The buffet is also great choice with no wait times and lots of delicious options. πŸ₯˜

Overall the trip was amazing! The ship was the perfect size and we never had any issues getting a sun lounger or waiting too long for drink. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made for such a welcoming atmosphere on board. I’m already looking to book my next cruise with Princess!” πŸ’™
